The podcasts you can’t miss

Who likes listening to podcasts? I’m a super fan of podcasts, and if there’s anyone else, please let me know… Back in 2015 when I was preparing the GMAT (I talked about my year 2015 here) I was advised to listen to Freakonomics to learn more economics vocabulary and improve my English. I downloaded about 30 episodes and in a few days I listened them ALL. That’s how I got familiar with the world of podcasts – which is MUCH more developed nowadays. Today. I am bringing you MY fav podcasts , the ones that I can not stop listening to.

1. Addicted 2 Success – Joel Brown

Those who love Australian pronunciation will love this. Everything is about success and entrepreneurship. Joel is an Australian living in Bali who, in addition to his incredible success story, interviews startups CEOs, online business entrepreneurs, and famous personalities who create millions of dollars in business. Joel creates a chill environment where his guests share tips but mostly difficulties to create a business. If there are entrepreneurs out there, this is the right podcast. You can hear more on Joel’s website.

2. Super soul conversations – Oprah Winfrey

The Oprah’s podcast! I’m a big fan of Oprah. I have been following her work for many years and I really enjoy the interviews she does (I cry during almost every interview she does). In this podcast, she usually brings people from her network – people with complicated stories, who even in difficult situations, have been able to add value to the lives of others. This is a podcast inspires me a lot.

3. Impact theory – Tom Bilyeu

Ohh Man, I love Tom Bilyeu and he always has very pertinent guests. I “met” through his YouTube channel but now I hear him most of the time in his podcast episodes (more practical, in my humble opinion). He talks about his personal experiences (how to manage human relationships, love, work) and interviews entrepreneurs. In addition, he created a section dedicated to women entrepreneurs and health. I love it!

4. Freakonomics Radio – Dubner Productions

It’s the podcast I listen to less frequently now – (Do not ask me why) but I still wanted to put it on this mini list Because I really like it; Because it addresses very interesting topics; Because I always learn a lot. Here they talk mainly about economy and the current situation in the United States. Many studies are analyzed and usually one or two guests comment on the topic. It’s a podcast very focused on Americans – if you like to be informed about the late USA news, this is a good choice. Look at their episodes here.

To access podcasts, simply go to the Podcast app on your mobile phone and tip the names above. : D Then, download what interests you the most (all the podcasts I mentioned are in English but the language is super easy).

And that’s it. These are my 4 favorite podcasts at the moment… These are the ones I listen to every day. Did you already know them? Do you have other podcast recommendations? And in Portuguese what do they advise me? I am not very familiar with the market haha…

Beijinho,
