A quick trip to Mexico

I had a week off from college and decided to book a trip to go somewhere. I did some research on the cheapest flights out of the United States and guess what: the cheapest one I found was to Guadalajara, in Mexico.

That day I sent a message to 2 Mexican friends asking info about the city and in less than 24 hours, I was inundated with positive messages about Guadalajara. So, I booked the flight straight away. – For those who ask me how I plan my trips, the truth is that 90% of them are not really planned!

There were 6 days of so many GOOOOD things that I almost forgot about everything in Chicago. I took VERY few photos in Mexico, I completely disconnected from social media and, at some point, I even stopped opening my email (which has become tremendously difficult since I went back to school).

And why I am telling you this: first, because I don’t really have pictures and photos from Mexico: I am sorry, my friends. But I have a completely renovated heart, a soul full of hope, a more educated brain after the 3 books I read in 6 days, half hair (YES, I cut my hair in Mexico) and VERY tanned legs. This is basically the result of 6 days of vacation. Now, it’s time to get back to the old routine because I already have assignments to submitted.

Beijinhos,
